Abstract
Fish production from year to year has shown an increase in productivity, but this increase does not necessarily indicate efficiency in increasing the income of business actors. The purpose of this research is to describe the impact of production factors (pond area, seeds, and feed) on catfish production, as well as the efficiency of using these factors technically, allocatively (price), and economically at UD Mina Tani, Sumbersari Village, Megaluh District, Jombang Regency. The research location was determined intentionally. The research method uses multiple linear regression with the Cobb-Douglas function. The results of the research prove that the area of the pond (X1), seeds (X2), and feed (X3) have a positive impact on catfish production. The seed factor had a significant positive impact on catfish production, but the pond area and feed factors had no significant impact on catfish production. The calculation of efficiency is technically known that the production factor is not efficient because the efficiency value obtained is 0.82. The allocative efficiency analysis (price) in the catfish rearing business is -2.26 with the catfish rearing business category at UD Mina Tani not being price efficient. Judging from the value of the economic efficiency of the catfish rearing business at UD Mina Tani, which is -1.85, it means that the catfish rearing business is not yet economically efficient.
