Abstract
Lamongan is a district rich in marine, land and livestock products, making the trade sector the sector with the second highest regional income after maritime. This is accompanied by the emergence of many traditional markets spread across several sub-districts with buildings and stalls that are overcapacity and inadequate. Therefore, the design of a modern environmentally conscious market in Lamongan Regency aims to provide a space that can accommodate traders to sell their goods comfortably, cleanly and with supporting facilities. The design of this market carries the theme of thrive harmony with nature with a Green Building approach combined with the Geometric Architecture method that pays attention to environmental aspects, geometry, materials and light and air, so that the resulting design is able to present harmony between buildings and nature, with optimal spatial planning accompanied by efforts to protect the environment which is applied based on green building parameters. making the market building a comfortable, organized and environmentally friendly building so as to provide comfort for building users. This market building is not only a place for buying and selling transactions but also a place to relax and interact between building users, it is hoped that it can become a building known to people outside the area and tourists who visit.
