Abstract

The validity verification of invoices is crucial in the business world to prevent document forgery and ensure legitimate transactions. This study develops a web-based system integrating Quick Response (QR) Code and the Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) algorithm to enhance the security and authenticity of invoices at CV. Mandiri Bersama. The QR Code provides quick access to invoice information, while the TOTP algorithm authenticates authorized users with a unique code that changes at specific intervals. The system also implements Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) using a combination of email and TOTP-based OTP, ensuring that only users with valid email access can verify invoices. The implementation results indicate that QR Code effectively validates invoices quickly and efficiently, while the TOTP algorithm secures invoice access, reducing the risk of document manipulation or misuse. Testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) resulted in a final score of 86.56, indicating an excellent usability level. With this system, the invoice validation process becomes more secure, accurate, and efficient.
