Abstract
The decline in the quality of a land results in damage to land functions and indicates damage to the land which causes an increase in critical land. Land use in the Manten sub- watershed can cause land degradation that can potentially increase the level of critical land. This study aims to identify and analyze the amount of soil quality index value in terms of chemistry on critical land in the catchment area of Manten Sub Watershed. The method used in the study was a selected survey method with quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that all land uses with criticality levels are not critical, somewhat critical, and potentially critical in paddy fields, fields, and gardens have an average pH that tends to be low.
