Abstract
This research aims to optimise raw material control through the application of Economics Order Quantity, which is an important aspect in minimising costs while ensuring inventory levels. This research outlines the background and necessity of implementing effective inventory management strategies in an industrial setting, specifically in the wood manufacturing sector. It details the methodology used during an internship at PT ROMI VIOLETA, where the practical application of theoretical knowledge was observed. The findings show that the use of EOQ not only improves operations but also contributes to significant cost savings in raw material procurement. In conclusion, this report emphasises the importance of integrating academic knowledge with practical experience to drive improvements in production systems. This report serves as a valuable resource for studies and applications in the field of industrial engineering and inventory management
