Abstract
n this digital age, technological developments have changed the way many tasks are performed. From all walks of life, from the smallest group to the largest scale, it is evident that technology has become the main or basic factor of all activities. Government is no exception. In an effort to facilitate two-way communication between autonomous drivers and their communities, a medium for communication is needed. The Surabaya City Communication and Informatics Office (Diskominfo) is one of the regional institutions under the auspices of the City of Surabaya which is tasked with managing technology and information for the government and providing services for the residents of Surabaya City. One easy way that can be used as a communication medium is through a web page (web site). In this Field Work Practices, a web application was formed that provides information about the geography of Surabaya City with the help of Open-Source Library so that in its manufacture, this application does not require excessive costs, a Geographical Information System (GIS). It is hoped that this application can facilitate communication between the government and the community, and facilitate community activities.
