Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of public sector accounting and the quality of financial reports on the accountability of the performance of local government agencies. The type of data used in this research uses primary data derived from respondents' answers obtained from questionnaires distributed to all employees of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency of East Java Province totaling 76 respondents with a sampling technique using the simple random sampling formula. This study uses a quantitative research type with PLS as its testing tool. Research findings show that public sector accounting has an effect on the accountability of the performance of local government agencies and the quality of financial reports also have an effect on the accountability of the performance of local government agencies..
