Abstract
Stunting is a significant health problem in Indonesia. Mayangan Village is one of the villages with a high stunting rate. The number of children affected by stunting in Mayangan Village is 33 people. The stunting problem in Mayangan Village is caused by a lack of balanced nutritional intake and a lack of public knowledge about the importance of nutrition in children's growth. In order to improve nutritional quality and reduce stunting rates in Mayangan Village, innovation in the form of cassava leaf nuggets is one potential solution. The aim of this outreach activity is to develop cassava leaf nugget innovation as a solution in an effort to reduce stunting rates in Mayangan Village. Apart from that, this activity also aims to increase public awareness and knowledge about the importance of balanced nutrition for children's growth. The application method is the community development method as well as the approach method in the form of lectures, discussions and product processing demonstrations. Through this outreach activity, the public is introduced to how to process cassava leaves into attractive and nutritious nuggets. This shows that this innovation is well received by the community and has the potential to increase family nutritional intake, thereby contributing to reducing stunting rates in the village. It is hoped that the results of this activity can be implemented in a sustainable manner to improve the quality of public health and reduce the prevalence of stunting in the region.
