Abstract
Building A at the Surabaya UPT Vertical Hospital is an example of utilizing limited land so that space needs are met. However, this causes the building to have a different frame structure, namely an oval shape. Changes in the geometry of building structures result in lateral and mass irregularities. This research will analyze the stability, performance and ductility of building A. This research will also carry out planning modifications to add 4 floors to 11 floors with a height of 4.25 m for each floor so that the total height is 50.25 m. Therefore, analysis of earthquake and wind loads is important. The capacity level structure is explained using the Performance Based Design method. This method carries out Pushover Analysis by applying a certain dynamic lateral load to the structure, then increasing it gradually so that the structure reaches its maximum limit and structural failure occurs. The resulting force values on structural elements (Beam Column Connections) will be processed using applicable standard references to produce a stable and strong structure. The results of this research obtained a ductility value of 1.21 for the X direction and 1.46 for the Y direction, this value makes the structure classified as partially ductile. The level of structural performance in the X direction is 0.002 and in the Y direction is 0.0019, so the structure is classified as SP-1 Immediate Occupancy, which is very safe.
