Abstract
This study was conducted with the aim of knowing empirical evidence and analyzing the effect of sales growth and capital structure on financial distress with good corporate governance as a moderating variable. The population in this study were infrastructure, transportation and utility sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2018-2019 period. The method used to determine the sample in this study is purposive sampling method. Through this method, 28 companies were obtained that could be observed during the 2018-2023 period (6 years) so that the total observation data in this study was 168 data. The analysis technique used in this research is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the help of the SPSS 25 analysis tool. The results explained that sales growth contributed negatively to financial distress and capital structure contributed positively to financial distress.Capital structure contributes positively to financial distress. Good corporate governance contributes to strengthening the relationship between sales growth and capital structure with financial distress.
