Abstract
The farmer's exchange rate is a comparison of the price index received by farmers with the price index paid by farmers and is expressed as a percentage. Sidoarjo Regency has an area used for agriculture of 212,227 km2 and the majority of the population makes their living as farmers. This research aims to determine the exchange rate of rice farmers and the factors that influence it in Singkalan Village, Balongbendo District, Sidoarjo Regency. Primary data and secondary data were taken by interviews, observation and documentation. Analysis of the influence of factors that influence farmers' exchange rates uses multiple regression analysis with a sample size of 38 respondents. Based on the results of the analysis, the exchange rate for rice farmers in Singkalan Village shows that the average exchange rate for rice farmers is 119 %. Factors that influence farmers' exchange rates include productivity, food expenditure, non-food expenditure, total costs, land area and income.
