Abstract
Mojokerto Regency, as a geographical entity that is developing in Indonesia, is an important highlight in regional development studies which makes Mojokerto Regency increase in labor absorption which can overcome the unemployment rate and the increasing population. However, the poverty level is still fluctuating and is included in areas with quite high poverty levels in the East Java region. This research aims to analyze the influence of population, unemployment rate and average years of schooling on poverty levels in Mojokerto Regency in the 2009-2023 time period. This research uses secondary time series data from BPS Mojokerto Regency, using quantitative methods with multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 27 tools. The results of the research are that population size has a significant negative effect on poverty levels in Mojokerto Regency. The unemployment rate variable does not have a significant effect on the poverty rate in Mojokerto Regency. The average length of schooling has a significant positive effect on the poverty level in Mojokerto Regency.
