Abstract
Land suitability evaluation research is used to cultivate banana, durian, mango and orange fruit plantations, including determining limiting factors on research land, and improvement efforts that must be made on research land in Kemasantani Village, Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency. The research uses a matching method by adjusting the results of data in the field to plant growth conditions which produce actual land suitability classes for banana, durian, mango and orange plants. The matching results produce several limiting factors for actual land suitability classes for plant growth requirements including, limiting factors for water availability (Wa), limiting factors for oxygen availability (Oa), limiting factors for rooting media (Rc), limiting factors for nutrient retention (Nr), limiting factors available nutrients (Na), factors limiting erosion hazard (Eh), and factors limiting land preparation (Lp). There are improvements that can be made to increase the actual land suitability class value to the potential for growing banana, durian, mango and orange plants. This research can provide information regarding improvement efforts, land processing, and planting plants that are appropriate to the conditions of the land to be planted.
