Abstract
Rice harvesting is an activity that aims to obtain grain from the planting process within a certain period of time until it reaches a predetermined level of maturity. The use of Combine Harvester during harvesting is appropriate, because in addition to making harvesting time more efficient, reducing grain loss during harvesting, it can also widen the harvest area and maintain better agroecosystem conditions. The objectives of this research are: 1) Analyzing the factors affecting rice production technical efficiency of the use of Combine Harvester in Bareng Village, 2) Analyzing the economic efficiency of the use of Combine Harvester in the rice harvesting process in Bareng Village. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis method with Cobb-Douglas function equation. There are 50 samples, namely farmers who use Combine Harvester and 50 samples, namely 50 farmers who do not use Combine Harvester and processed using SPSS 25. Based on the research results obtained: land area, pesticide and labor variables partially have a significant influence on rice production. Harvesting using Combine Harvester is more profitable and technically efficient than traditional harvesting, the results are obtained efficiency index of harvesting with Combine Harvester of 3,867 while traditional harvesting is 2,384. This shows that the use of Combine Harvester in Bareng Village is technically efficient. Based on the R/C Ratio results, the value of rice harvesting with Combine Harvester is 2,2 while traditional rice harvesting has an R/C Ratio value of 1,65. This shows that rice harvesting with a Combine Harvester is more economically efficient.
