Abstract

A profile website is a site designed to provide information about an organization, institution, or individual, including its vision, mission, history, and services offered. Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) activity aims to develop a profile website for the Balai Pengembangan Kompetensi PUPR Wilayah VI Surabaya using the CodeIgniter 3 framework. The program lasted for five months, from February 16 to June 30. The main task during this period was to build and optimize the center's profile website to make it more informative and accessible for both internal and external users. The result of this activity is the establishment of the Balai Pengembangan Kompetensi PUPR Wilayah VI Surabaya's profile website, along with a CMS for administrators to manage the content displayed on the main website. The recommendation derived from this project is the need to use a more up-to-date framework to enhance the performance and security of the information system, facilitate the development of new features and future maintenance, and provide a better user experience for the information system users.
