Abstract
North Sampang has reliable marine resources, however Until now, its utilization is still not optimal because there is no data factors such as sea surface temperature. Based on this background, This study aims to evaluate the SPL values extracted from satellite data Terra Modis imagery, this technology uses the Terra Modis satellite imagery capabilities, with the help of the SeaDas application, the usefulness of this research is expected to used as a means of supporting the observation of underwater ecosystem life and also as a reference in the construction of buildings on the northern coast of Sampang. The results of image data processing with the scatter method obtained the results R² square highest in September 2016 at a wavelength of 412 nm, with Logarithmic algorithm equation model y = 3.3963ln(x) + 44,571 and obtained the value of R² = 0.1483. The t-test results obtained a value of 0.339630561 which means it has correlation is quite low. The value of t count < t table (0.016665558 < 2.093024054) so that H0 is accepted, meaning that there is no difference between the in situ temperature and the Terra . satellite image Modis 2020. Test results using the ANOVA two factor without replication method between in situ temperature data and 5 years satellite image data, shows the results at data processing rows with a value of 1.981017773 (F count) > 1.725029 (F table) so that H0 is rejected, which means there is a difference between 20 rows of coordinate points study. Also in the processing of columns with a result of 0.825252057 (F count) < 2.492049(F table) so that H0 is accepted, which means there is no difference between in situ sea surface temperatures and satellite image data for each year. Results Comparison of in situ data with research satellite image data belonging to Dicky Firmansyah, Aulia Azizah, Hendrata Wibisana, and Siti Zainab with the F test method in the analysis data anova two factor without replication, obtained temperature comparison data sea level: F count is greater than F crit by 139.5043 > 2.960351 so H1 is accepted, which means there is a difference between the in situ sea surface temperature with the sea surface temperature of the four algorithm models. Keywords: Sea surface temperature, Terra Modis, SST mapping
