Abstract
Tourism development in Nganjuk Regency has received attention from the Nganjuk Regency Regional Government. Sedudo Waterfall is in the category worthy of being used as a tourist attraction in Nganjuk Regency, namely Sedudo Waterfall. The existence of the Hutan Jaya Makmur Village Community Institution in Ngliman Village in the management process shows that the Sedudo Waterfall tourist attraction applies Community Based Tourism in its tourism development and management. However, management is not yet integrated, which has become an obstacle in the development of Sedudo Waterfall. The beauty of the natural scenery at Sedudo Waterfall is not accompanied by a maintained cleanliness management system. The facilities at Sedudo Waterfall have not been well maintained, the cleanliness of the tourist attraction is still lacking, such as dirty seating and waste from food and drink was found scattered throughout the Sedudo Waterfall tourist attraction. This research method is descriptive qualitative by collecting primary data through interviews and observations from related informants. This research concludes that: the achievement of the application of Community Based Tourism in the Sedudo Waterfall tourist attraction on economic principles, social principles, cultural principles, political principles. Although in the economic principle there is a limited government budget allocated for Sedudo Waterfall development efforts, and the environmental principle also requires improvement, especially in terms of recycling programs and visitor education.
