Abstract

The study aims to empirically test the Trading Volume, Trading Frequency and Market Capitalization Value of the Return on Shares of Food and Beverage Companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in the period 2017-2021. Data was obtained from the Indonesian Stock Exchange with 72 issuers with purposive and sampling criteria that 34 companies have been collected with a total of 170 being used as a sample. The research uses a quantitative method with the use of secondary data of the food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies for the period 2017-2021 with a double linear regression technique using the SPSS version 24 software program. The results of this study showed that by analyzing the volume variable tading has no influence on the share return, trading frequency has a significant impact on the stock return and the market capitalization value significantly affects the share returns. In accordance with the model compatibility with the test F independent variables such as trading volume, trading Frequency, and market capitalisation value have a significant effect on the dependent variable, namely the stock returns of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in the period 2017-2021.
