Abstract
Financial performance is an analysis carried out to see the extent to which a company has carried out financial management properly and efficiently. This study aims to analyze the influence of CAMEL (Capital, Asset Quality, Management, Earning, Liquidity) factors on banking financial performance as measured by Return on Assets (ROA). The research method used is quantitative with a multiple linear regression approach to test the relationship between the independent variable of CAMEL and the dependent variable of financial performance (ROA). The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the annual financial statements of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020-2023 period. The results of the study show that Capital, Asset Quality, and Liquidity do not have a significant effect on the financial performance of banks. Meanwhile, Management and Earning have a significant effect on the financial performance of banks.
