Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on all areas of life. One of the areas affected by this pandemic is department stores that sell fashion products. According to previous research, there was a decline in the purchase of fashion products during the Covid-19 pandemic. The existence of social restrictions, public awareness to avoid public places and crowds as well as activities that are mostly carried out at home, affect the behavior of department store consumers for fashion products. This study aims to analyze and understand behavioral changes that occur in department store consumers who sell fashion products during the new normal Covid-19. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with a literature review approach. Research data collection is carried out through literature studies and theoretical studies from various scientific sources. The results show that Covid19 affects consumer behavior in fashion department stores in terms of motivation to visit fashion department stores, attitudes related to economic problems and perceptions of social distance.
