Abstract
At the beginning of 2021, there was one news that had become a headline in various media, namely news about the enactment of the Joint Decree (SKB) 3 Minister of School Uniforms. One of the main points of this Joint Decree concerns the regulations regarding the use of uniforms and religious attributes in the school environment which have generated various responses from the community. To analyze this phenomenon, a framing analysis technique is used which sees an emphasis on the selection of issues and/or highlighting certain aspects of reality. This study aims to see how the news regarding the Joint Decree (SKB) 3 Minister of School Uniforms is framed by Republika.co.id and Kompas.com. The research method is using a qualitative approach with a constructivism paradigm. The results of this study can be concluded that Republika.co.id makes a frame that the 3 Ministerial Decree is a problematic regulation, especially when applied in Indonesia as a country based on the principle of One Godhead, while the frame formed by Kompas.com is actually the problem lies in on the element of coercion on the use of religious attributes that are not in accordance with one's beliefs, not prohibiting the use of uniforms with religious attributes in the school environment.
