Abstract
CV. Global Akses Teknologi is a company engaged in the manufacturing of electronic devices. One of the products produced is the MIMO 22 dbi 2.4 ghz sectoral antenna. With the increasing needs of consumers, the company is trying to optimize the production process in order to have a small lead time. However, in the antenna production line, various waste problems are still found which cause a lack of efficiency, effectiveness and optimality of the production process. This study aims to identify waste in the sectoral antenna production process at CV. Global Akses Teknologi and propose improvements based on the principles of lean and green manufacturing. To reduce the waste that occurs, the Green Value Stream Mapping (GVSM), Waste Assessment Model (WAM), Value Stream Analysis Tool (VALSAT), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) methods are used. From the data processing and analysis that has been done, the most dominant waste identification results are motion of 25%, transportation of 17.34%, process of 13.77%, overproduction of 12.97%, defect of 12.60%, inventory of 10.37%, and waiting of 8.15%. For the environmental aspect, it produces PCB waste of 13 Kg, aluminum sheets of 7 Kg, PVC of 11 Kg. In the company's production process, recommendations for improvements are given, namely investing in an industrial oven machine as a replacement for a stove in the PVC heating process and acrylic bending for the PVC bending process, making maintenance cards for CNC machines that experience downtime, making QC cards for the inspection process using QC cards, scheduling the use of lights in the sectoral antenna production line room, making a small version of the sectoral antenna for types with PCB waste that can still be reused to make a mini version of the 20 dbi 5.8 Ghz sectoral wifi antenna, recycling PVC waste for paving blocks that can be resold by melting PVC in a plastic melting machine. Aluminum and iron waste is melted and reshaped to be used in the manufacture of sectoral antennas
