Abstract

As the population of Indonesia increases, the demand for food also increases. This condition is also followed by an increase in the rate of urbanization in the industrial sector, so that the agricultural sector is also decreasing. In addition, the increase in the number of residential residents also affects the agricultural sector where there is a decrease in the amount of productive land for the agricultural sector. One way to meet the increasing food needs with decreasing agricultural land is to use greenhouse technology. Therefore, the "Automatic Watering Plant for Greenhouse" tool was created. The output from the use of sensors is that it can monitor and water chili plants automatically, making it easier for garden owners to monitor chili plants remotely. This tool uses 5 sensors that can be integrated into 1 thinkspeak interface. The 5 sensors are water level sensors, rain sensors, LDR sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, and soil moisture sensors.
