Abstract
Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) is one of the members of the horticultural commodity family that is popular and favored by Indonesian consumers, but from 2021 to 2023, the production of cucumber vegetables in Indonesia has decreased every year. Efforts to increase cucumber production can be done by implementing urban agriculture, one way is planting in polybags. In addition, the provision of fertilizer also has an effect on improving production, Gandasil B is one of the most effective foliar fertilizer choices to optimize harvest results and the fruiting process, as well as regulating the number of plants per polybag. The benefits of this study are to determine the optimal dose of Gandasil B and the ideal number of plants in a polybag to achieve maximum cucumber production. This study adopted a Completely Randomized Design with 12 different treatments. Each treatment was repeated 3 times to obtain 36 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 3 sample plants, resulting in a total of 108 plants as research objects. No significant interaction was found between the number of plants and the concentration of Gandasil B on the plant length variable. However, the analysis of variance showed a significant main effect of both factors on other growth and production variables in cucumber plants.
