Abstract
The night sedge flower has been named the mascot flower of East Java as stated in the Decree of the Governor of East Java No. 471 of 1991. Rembang Village, Rembang Sub-district, Pasuruan Regency is an area in East Java that contributes to the production of a large number of night sedge flowers. Even so, there are several challenges that must be faced by farmers, namely fluctuating selling prices and the absence of fertilizer subsidies from the government. Therefore, this study aims to: 1) identify the existence of night sedge flower farming in Rembang Village, 2) analyze the income of night sedge flower farming in Rembang Village, and 3) analyze the feasibility of night sedge flower farming in Rembang Village. The location in the study was selected using a purposive method. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling method, where 47 informants were selected based on certain criteria in accordance with the research objectives. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The results showed that the existence of night sedge farming in Rembang Village is still evident, indicated by the increasing land area of night sedge farming, the number of farmers also increasing although not too much, and the interest of farmers who still want to continue to cultivate night sedge flowers. Analysis of farm income shows that income is Rp 167.347.475 / Ha / Season. Or get an average income of Rp 6.972.811 / Ha / Month. The financial feasibility analysis shows that the R/C Ratio is 2,65 and the B/C Ratio is 1,65. While the Production BEP of the bar type is 63,535 stalks / Ha / Season, and the Production BEP of the petikan type is 881 sacks. While the BEP price of the type of bar is at least Rp 915 / piece.
