Abstract

This research stems from the fact that many students are good at using information technology but do not have good financial literacy knowledge. In addition, the consumptive behavior of students also creates an interest in getting into debt through online loans with the aim of finding alternative sources of funds to meet their needs and desires. Therefore, it is important for financial services supervision to consider the provision of online loans so that students are not trapped in the risk of debt that has a negative impact. This study analyzes the impact of financial literacy and consumptive behavior on online loans reinforced by financial inclusion on UPN "Veteran" East Java students. The analysis in this study used Partial Least Square (PLS) through SMART PLS 3.0 with 392 students as respondents. This study evaluates the extent of the influence of financial literacy, consumptive behavior, and financial inclusion on online loan interest in UPN "Veteran" East Java students. The results showed that financial literacy cannot influence students to be interested in online loans, consumptive behavior can influence students to be interested in loans that are positive, and financial literacy has a positive effect on consumptive behavior, and financial inclusion cannot strengthen or weaken in this study. Therefore, other factors are needed to be studied in UPN "Veteran" East Java students regarding the influence on online loan interest. Keywords: Financial Literacy, Consumptive Behavior, Financial Inclusion, Online Loan Interest
