Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic that occurred simultaneously throughout the world caused the tourism industry, especially hotel guests in tourist cities such as Yogyakarta, experience a very significant decline. The existence of prohibitions and health protocols that must be met from both the hotel and guests are the main considerations in times like today. Adaptation of New Habits in carrying out health protocols has been agreed all over the world, but in reality it is not always implemented well by many people, especially hotel guests. Therefore, a study for the effectiveness of the hotel guests circulation in the area of the health protocol infrastructure in several hotels, especially in the arrival and lobby areas, is interesting to study. This research was obtained from observations in February 2021. Some of the Yogyakarta hotels studied were GAIA Cosmo, The Manohara and PORTA by Ambarukmo. The analysis uses descriptive qualitative methods, regarding the effectiveness of health care facilities on the circulation flow and behavior of hotel guests. Hopefully the results of this study will be quite useful in providing information so that hotels and guests are disciplined in implementing protocols for adaptation new habit activities during the pandemic.
