Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that influence Bank HIMBARA's credit distribution during the period 2019 Q1 to 2022 Q4. HIMBARA Bank, which consists of Bank Mandiri, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), and Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN), has a strategic role in national economic development. This research uses secondary data with a quantitative approach through panel data regression analysis. The independent variables studied include Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Loans (NPL), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Third Party Funds (DPK), and BI Rate. The research results show that NPL, LDR, DPK, and BI Rate have a significant effect on HIMBARA Bank's credit distribution. NPL and BI Rate have a negative influence, while LDR and DPK have a positive influence on credit distribution. This research provides the implication that Bank HIMBARA needs to maintain a healthy ratio to minimize credit risk and support optimal credit distribution. Keywords: HIMBARA Bank, Credit Distribution, Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non-Performing Loan (NPL), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Third Party Funds (DPK), BI Rate.
