Abstract
The Delivery Order as a legal certainty manifestation for the acquisition of ownership rights over an item is utilized by traders to expedite the transfer of ownership rights effectively and efficiently, even while the item remains in the possession of the issuer. The characteristic of the Delivery Order is its symbolic transfer of ownership rights, often used by traders to secure financing from financial institutions for trading transactions. Therefore, the Delivery Order is considered evidence of ownership of inventory items that can be used as collateral in ensuring debt repayment. This research aims to determine and analyze the validity of the Delivery Order as an object of fiduciary collateral for trading goods in accordance with the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 42 Year 1999 concerning Fiduciary Guarantee. The research adopts a normative juridical method, collecting data through descriptive analysis and qualitative approaches. The findings indicate that the Delivery Order contains elements that can serve as collateral for trading goods through the fiduciary guarantee mechanism.
