Abstract
The role of water in daily life is not only to fulfill needs in the aspect of cleaning oneself but is also used in spiritual aspects. In this aspect water is used in ablution. For Muslims, ablution is done every time before performing worship, especially prayer. This ablution is done at least five times in one day or can be interpreted as five prayer times. In one ablution, each congregation requires around 3 L of clean water, so in one day for one pilgrim performing ablution requires approximately 15 L. This amount is quite large when multiplied by the number of Muslims in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the availability of clean water in several regions of Indonesia is limited. The use of water when performing ablution is only to wash certain parts of the body. In these conditions, the ablution water waste is disposed of directly into the gutter without any use. Meanwhile, this ablution water waste is considered greywater because it is not mixed with human waste. This gray water waste can be recycled, so that it can be used again for ablution. In the initial analysis of ablution water parameters, the initial results were pH (5.8), TDS (303) mg/l, TSS (5) mg/l, Total Coliform (62) Apm/100 ml where these results were not in accordance with the standard standards of the Minister of Health. 2023 regarding clean water. Therefore, an analysis study of Wduhu water was carried out using the filtration and adsorption process with the results obtained namely pH (6.5), TDS (164) mg/l, TSS (1.38) mg/l, total coliforms obtained (54) Apm / 100ml
