Abstract
This report summarizes the implementation of the Internship Program at PT. Semen Indonesia Logistik and the development of an internship registration website using the CodeIgniter 3 (CI3) framework. The main objective is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the internship execution process, the design and development of the website, and the expected impact of this digital solution. The internship at PT. Semen Indonesia Logistik is an integral part of students' education in understanding the logistics industry. During the internship, students designed and implemented an internship registration website using CI3. The development method involved analyzing requirements, designing the interface, website development, and testing. The process of analyzing requirements included interviews with students, company staff, and other relevant parties to understand the shortcomings and challenges in the existing registration system. Designing the website interface was a crucial step to ensure easy and intuitive interaction. CI3 framework was utilized to build the database structure, user controls, and integrate the interface. Key features included a structured registration form, a list of internship programs, detailed information about each program, and an area for uploading supporting documents. The website was developed using CI3's standout features, such as routing, model-view-controller (MVC), and database management, allowing separation of business logic, interface presentation, and data structure for easier development and maintenance. CI3 provided advantages in terms of website performance and security. After development, the website underwent testing for functionality, security, and interface responsiveness on various devices and screen sizes. The final result is an internship registration website implemented using CI3, expected to optimize the registration process, improve information accessibility, and provide a positive user experience. This report emphasizes the importance of leveraging cutting-edge technologies, like CI3, to develop efficient and structured digital solutions. It serves as a guide for other companies interested in adopting similar technology to build more effective and modern internship registration websites, strengthening collaboration between the education and industry sectors.
