Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine and verify the influence of loan amount, loan term, credit rating, loan purpose, business duration, and financial statement information on the decision to grant credit loans to MSMEs through conventional peer-to-peer lending platforms. This study employs a quantitative approach and utilizes secondary data. The research population includes 267 MSMEs that applied for loans on Investree and Koinworks during the period of November-December 2023. Through a purposive sampling technique, 225 MSMEs were selected as samples for this study. The analytical technique used is logistic regression. The results of this study indicate that factors such as loan amount, credit rating, and loan purpose influence the decision-making process of granting credit loans to MSMEs on the Investree and Koinworks peer-to-peer lending platforms. Meanwhile, loan term, business duration, and financial statement information do not affect the decision to grant credit loans to MSMEs on Investree and Koinworks. These results are also supported by robustness test results, which show that loan amount, credit rating, and loan purpose influence the decision-making process of granting credit loans, whereas loan term, business duration, and financial statement information do not affect the decision to grant credit loans to MSMEs on Investree and Koinworks.
