Abstract
Air pollution is a condition which have one or more physical, chemical, biological substances in the atmosphere of the quantities that could endanger healthy of human, animals or plants. Disturbing the aesthetics and function of the property, then damaging it. Air pollution produced by natural sources and human activity. basicly, air polution not only have the direct and local impact, but also have the regional and global impact. This research will discuss about ambient air quality at Purabaya bus station Surabaya especially in the waiting room which use of CO, NOx, and Pb being parameters. Methodology done by doing the measurement directly, then for the analysis. The result is the highest CO concentration at point 2 on Monday with a value of 6493 μgr /Nm , for the highest NOx concentration at point 2 on Monday with a value of 687.6 μgr /Nm 3 , while for the highest Pb concentration at points 2 and 3 on Monday with a value of 0.0001 mg /Nm 3 . Air quality in the Purabaya Surabaya bus station is good enough but NOx have the high concentration in the some sampling point. Concentrations of CO and Pb haveing the lower quality from the standards which have been set. Keywords: Air Pollution, CO, NOx, Pb, waiting room, motor vehicle. 3
