Abstract
Spinach (Amaranthus spp.) is commercial vegetable crop that often cultivated in Indonesia, because spinach has an affordable selling value, making spinach easy market. Agricultural technique based indoor farming, namely using artificial lights main lighting to replace sunlight in the room, role sunlight can be replaced by providing lights so that even though the plants are indoors, photosynthesis process can still take place. This study aims to determine best results from combination treatment of long exposure and color LED lights on growth and yield of spinach (Amaranthus spp.). Study was conducted in Oro - Oro Ombo Village, Batu City, East Java from July 2020 to September 2020. Research using split plot design in completely randomized design with long exposure main plot and color light lights as a sub plot. The treatment duration of irradiation includes 12 hours, 16 hours and 20 hours of LED lighting, while the color treatment of the lights is red, blue and white LED lights. Data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance and if there was a significant difference, it would be continued with the BNJ test at the 5% stage. The results showed that the combination treatment between the length of irradiation and color LED lights showed a very real interaction on all parameters of the observation except for the parameters of plant height and number leaves aged 7 and 14 days after which the combination treatment of white light with 20 hours of irradiation (L3W3) showed results the best in all parameters observation.
