Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is a technological capability that allows machines or computers to carry out tasks that generally require human intelligence, such as learning, planning, adaptation, and decision making.. Artificial Intelligence technology has the potential to make decisions like humans, but the negative impacts can be very dangerous. For example, Deepfake technology is a type of technology that can edit someone's picture or video so it looks like them is doing or saying things that are not true or have never been happens in real life. This is included in the act of artificial abuse intelligence and could be considered a cyber crime. To overcome This problem, Indonesia needs to develop a clear criminal policy. This research uses a normative juridical approach using statutory regulatory approach and conceptual approach. The result shows that Indonesia does not yet have specific regulations to regulate it use of Artificial intelligence, but some laws such as Electronic information and transactions law, personal data protection, and pornography can be used to deal with the misuse of artificial technology intelligence. Criminal policies to overcome this problem can be implemented with penal efforts, namely drafting artificial intelligence laws and implementing regulations as well as non-penal efforts, namely outreach to community, adding education about artificial intelligence to the curriculum education, and improving cyber security.
