Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of edamame soybeans (Glycin max (L) Merrill) Local Varieties of Jember are by breeding mutation plant methods. The result of breeding this mutation is to produce good and stable seed agronomic characters from previous breeding. Gamma-ray radiation is a plant with gamma rays can cause changes in genetic traits in positive and negative directions. To determine radiation analysis, take radiosensitivity measurements of LD20 and LD50. The research was carried out in January-August 2023 at the UPT Rice and Palawija 2 Seed Development Center, Singosari District, Malang using a single plant with 6 treatment doses, each dose consisting of 35 plants. The data from the study were analyzed using the T Test. The results showed that the results of LD20 and LD50 were 143.32 Gy and 551.881 Gy. The dose of 400 Gy has a very different growth in the growth factor of plants that have a height of 27.60 cm and 13 leaves. Factors of crop production do not show a noticeable difference in each treatment.
