Abstract

Character education is one aspect that must be emphasized to ensure that the foundation for individual character formation runs well. One of the methods chosen to teach character education and moral understanding to children is through playing and learning using board game media. This design aims to create a board game that helps instill character education in children and helps them understand the importance of moral education, history and the values of Indonesian society, while providing a fun educational approach. This design also discusses the approach used, including data collection and analysis techniques, to develop an interesting and interactive board game concept. By involving children aged 9-12 years in the design process, it is ensured that continuity between the educational objectives and the appeal of the game can be maintained. The design concept itself involves integrating folklore into the game mechanism with the aim of educating children about moral understanding as well as Indonesian culture and history.
