Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of internal bank factors on capital buffers in Digital Banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research variables used are Return on equity (ROE), Loan To Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), and Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO). The research period used is from 2019 to the second quarter of 2023). The sample selection technique used a purposive sampling method and obtained 5 Digital Banks with an observation period of 4 years (2019 to the second quarter of 2023). This research uses multiple linear regression analysis with the Ordinary Least Square method. Based on the results of data analysis, it was concluded that Return on equity (ROE), Loan To Deposit Ratio (LDR), and Operational Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) had a positive and significant effect on the Capital Buffer. Non Performing Loans (NPL) have a negative and significant effect on the Capital Buffer. The results of the model suitability test show that simultaneously Return on equity (ROE), Loan To Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), and Operational Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) have an effect on the Capital Buffer. This is shown by the calculated F value of 16.733 with a significance level of 0.000. The results of the coefficient of determination (adjusted R2) show that the influence of Return on Equity (ROE), Loan To Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), and Operational Expenses on Operating Income (BOPO) in explaining the Capital Buffer is 41.4% , and the rest is explained by other variables not examined in this study. Keywords: Capital Buffer, Return on equaity (ROE), Loan To Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loan (NPL) , and Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO
