Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of local original income on GDRP per capita as a criterion for regional economic growth with capital expenditure as an intervening variable in Ponorogo Regency. This research uses secondary data for the 2011-2022 period obtained from the publications of the East Java Province Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance, Ministry of Finance. The analytical method used is causal step regression analysis using the help of E-views 10 software. The results of the research show that Capital Expenditures can be an intervening variable. Furthermore, Regional Original Income with Capital Expenditures as an intervening variable has a positive and significant effect on GDRP Per Capita in Ponorogo Regency
