Abstract
Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) at PT Industri Kereta Api (Persero) are learning process activities carried out directly at a company to gain experience and special knowledge through projects provided to prepare oneself for the industrial world with the guidance of a mentor. The main mission of this project is to design a document from designing to testing a web-based application. The implementation of this blueprint document planning begins with a literature study regarding existing problems/concerns and looking for best practice solutions in developing the required website. Next, data is collected on user needs which will later be used to determine the features and functionality that users want. By considering this understanding, the website blueprint is designed with features and menus that suit your needs and can overcome existing problems. During the internship, the author works together in a team to implement the blueprint into a functioning website involving programming, testing, and repeated adjustments until the expected results are achieved. The result of this project is a complete blueprint that can be used as a guide in website development, a user manual that provides detailed instructions for users in using the website properly, and a user acceptance test used for system testing. Thus, this Field Work Practice (PKL) provides a valuable opportunity for the author to gain a deeper understanding of website development and the application of best practices in the industry.
