Abstract
Asset management business processes at PT. Petrokimia Gresik takes quite a long time and often causes confusion due to a lack of understanding of existing procedures. This results in errors and inefficient document distribution. By paying attention to the need for increased efficiency and procedural accuracy, developing asset management applications becomes a necessity. This application is expected to speed up business processes, improve understanding of procedures, and reduce the possibility of errors. However, before the application is published, its functionality testing needs to be done thoroughly. In this research, the author tested the asset management application of PT Petrokimia Gresik and chose to use the Black Box Testing method, especially the Boundary Value Analysis and Equivalence Partitioning techniques. This selection was based on the need to test the functionality of the application from the user's perspective, without requiring a detailed understanding of the technical implementation of the application. Testing should ensure that the application can manage the entire asset life cycle, organize business processes, ensure good understanding of procedures, and reduce the possibility of errors. The research results showed that of the 227 test scenarios, 226 scenarios were appropriate and 1 was not appropriate, with an average percentage of test case permits of 99%, the error was found in the investment application edit form based on the form.
