Abstract

System testing is very necessary in developing a software system to ensure that the functionality in it can run as expected by the developer and to find several bugs or defects in the application or software so that when the system is received by the user there are very few errors or weaknesses found in the system. Testing focuses on the functionality of the Madiun City MSME website using Black Box testing with the Boundary Value Analysis and Equivalence Partitioning methods. The use of two methods helps the author in compiling several useful test scenarios to ensure the quality and functionality of the website is appropriate for its purpose. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, the overall effectiveness value of the MSME website is 85.23%, which was obtained through manual and automatic testing using Selenium IDE as the tool. The final result obtained after testing is the effectiveness value of all scenario results as well as recommendations for improvements needed by the website so that it can run well and in accordance with its functionality.
