Abstract
The capital market is an alternative investment and have an important role in economic development in Indonesia. Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as the provider of thetrade effect, do the efforts to improve the investment community. One of the program is to establish aIDX Investment Gallery in several Indonesia University. The main aim in this study is to analyze and find the impact of capital market socialization in increasing student interest in the stock account opening of Investment Gallery FISIPUPN "Veteran" of East Java. The method used is the descriptive interactive model of analysis, which is part of the qualitative research. While the primary data collection is done by doing observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation through the speakers that add up to 15 people. From the results of the analysis conducted in this study it was found that the series of activities of socialization has been done by the Investment Galerry UPN "Veteran" East Java turned out to have an impact on students interestto open stock account and these activities are assessed is in compliance with the programs already established by IDX. Achievement of the value of the transaction and the opening of an account where the target has not yet reached, caused by lack of knowledge of the associated students for understanding theimportance of account openingprocessand the minimum investment amount.
