Abstract

Cumene (Isopropyl Benzene) factory from Benzene and Propylene using the Alkylation Process with a capacity of 100,000 tonnes/year will be established in the Kalisabuk Village area, Kesugihan District, Cilacap, Central Java. This location is a strategic location in terms of transportation and availability of raw materials, product marketing and transportation facilities. This factory operates 24 hours a day, 330 days a year and the raw materials used are Benzene and Propylene. Cumene (isopropyl benzene) is a chemical used as a raw material or supporting material in the production process. One of them is cumene as a raw material for making phenol and acetone.
