Abstract

Permanent assets owned by PT Kereta Ai Indonesia (Persero) in the form of company houses that were originally used for employee housing are now being optimized through asset commercialization. Asset control is carried out on problematic assets as well as occupants of company houses who do not have occupancy rights. However, the control of company houses has not been entirely successful. This research aims to find out the agreement that underlies the legal relationship between PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) and the occupants of company houses and examine the legal efforts that can be made so that disputes over company houses can be resolved. This research uses normative juridical research methods with literature study data collection methods and is processed through prescriptive analytical data analysis methods. The results showed that the lease agreement in the form of a letter of appointment of official housing is basically a valid agreement, although it does not regulate concretely the implementation of leases and efforts that can be taken in disputes over company houses are non-litigation efforts and litigation efforts.
