Abstract
Pabrik Sal Amoniak dari Amonia dan Asam Klorida menggunakan Proses Netralisasi dengan kapasitas 60.000 ton/tahun, direncanakan akan didirikan di daerah Manyar, Kabupaten Gresik, Jawa Timur tepatnya di Kawasan Industri Java Integrated Industrial and Ports Estate (JIIPE). Dalam industri pupuk, Sal Amoniak digunakan sebagai bahan baku sumber nitrogen dalam pupuk. Selain itu, Sal Amoniak juga dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku terutama digunakan pada pembuatan baterai seng-karbon sebagai elektrolit dan digunakan sebagai ekspektoran dalam obat batuk. Pabrik ini akan beroperasi selama 330 hari dalam setahun.
