Abstract
Higher duck and egg demand indicates one of the potentials and opportunities that can be utilized by duck entrepreneurs and also increases the family's nutritional consumption of animal potential and even as a prospective agribusiness commodity. (Rahayu, et al., 2012). The first objective of this research is to know the characteristics of duck breeder in Kecamatan Candi of Sidoarjo Regency, Second Objective to know the model of duck breeder business in Candi District of Sidoarjo Regency, Third Objective to analyze income, efficiency and feasibility of the three models of duck breeder business in Kecamatan Candi Kabupaten Sidoarjo. The analysis used to answer the first objective in the research is descriptive qualitative analysis, the second objective of descriptive analysis, and the third objective of income analysis, business feasibility and efficiency. Based on the results of research, on the first goal Characteristics of duck breeder respondents dominated by male gender 51-60 Years. The dominant educational background is SD 46.67% and junior high school with 30% experience of dominant duck breeding 1-7 years. In the second objective of the business model, there were 3 business models with the largest model III of 17 people, Model I of 9 people and Model III of 4 people, in the third objective comparison of Model I, Model II, and Model III. In Model I the production cost incurred by the duck breeders amounted to Rp 3,267,560 / yr with the total revenue of Rp 7,170,638 / yr of the total total revenue of Rp 3,963,638 / yr. In Model II the production cost incurred by duck breeders amounted to Rp 2,944 .924 / yr with total receipts of Rp 4,937,323 / yr total revenue of Rp 3,464,861 / yr, and In Model III the production cost of duck breeders is Rp 1,731,288 / yr with the amount of Rp 7,546,288 / The total revenue of Rp 5,819,020 / yr.
