Abstract
Blitar Regency Communications and Information Office as an agency government that applies information technology to support performance organization. Guided by the mission of the Blitar Regency Government to improve good governance through bureaucratic reform and information technology-based public services, this is the best with the existing condition of the Blitar Regency Communication and Information Office which information technology governance has never been measured so that problems arise that there is no periodic planning assessment and information technology development. Therefore, it is necessary to measure maturity level of planning and management of information technology considering teknologi the application of current technology that continues to grow and experience updates. This study focuses on the PO domain contained in Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT 4.1) as a framework work that can be used to measure the level of maturity in planning and managing information technology. Data collection using interviews, observation and reviewing related documents. The level of maturity of information technology planning and management the resulting value is 3.097951431 (Defined) meaning that the Department of Communication and Blitar District Informatics has defined and standardized which is documented in several processes, although not completely applied.
