Abstract

This research aims to determine the response of mustard plants on various planting compositions for the growth and yield of mustard plants by utilizing organic materials such as straw, corn leaves, cocopeat in polybag. Then planted in the experimental garden at the Faculty of Agriculture, National Development University "Veteran" East Java - Surabaya, starting from October to December 2016. Research prepared based on Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with one factor, 9 treatments were repeated 5 times. The result of this research is real difference of effect of plant composition of planting plants (Brassica Sinensis L.) on all plant media composition at 28 hst. In addition, the composition of K7 (Soil + Compost + Corn Leaf + Straw) gives the best result on plant length, leaf number, leaf area, root number, wet weight, and root length per plant in mustard plant at 28hst plant age.
