Abstract
The Surabaya City Government innovates in the field of transportation by launched a public transportation called Suroboyo Bus. To complete the presence of the Suroboyo Bus, the Surabaya City Transportation Service developed a GOBIS application. With the GOBIS Application, users can detect and monitor the last position of the Suroboyo Bus while operating. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that affect users in accepting the GOBIS Application. Research methods used is UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology) from Alexandra Konig and Jan Grippenkoven with seven variables consisting of performance expectations, social influence, facilitating conditions, effort expectation, behavioral intention, attitude towards public transport and attitude towards private cars. Sampling using Simple Technique Random Sampling. The number of samples in this study were 270 users the people of Surabaya City who have downloaded the GOBIS Application. Research data analyzed using PLS-SEM with WarpPLS 6.0 software. Based on the results of the analysis, it is found that the factors that influence users receive the GOBIS application consisting of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence with significant effect (p value < 0.05) on the intention to use the GOBIS Application. While facilitating conditions, attitude towards public transport and attitude towards private cars are not found significant effect (p value > 0.05) on the intention to use the GOBIS application. And for the factors that most influence users to accept the GOBIS Application is the performance expectancy with the largest path coefficient value, namely worth 0.303.
